Yu Hui

Yu Hui, born in 1988 in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, China, is a ceramist and sculptor of great reputation at home and abroad, a member of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC) and a member of the International Society for Ceramic Education and Exchange (ISCAEE). She received her Master's degree from Jingdezhen Ceramics Institute and her Ph.D. from Dankook University in South Korea. She is currently a faculty member of the College of Art and Design at Nanchang University, where she continues to promote the development of ceramic art through her teaching and creative work. Yu Hui's artistic creations cover a wide range of fields, including sculpture, ceramics, and public art, and her works demonstrate a deep understanding of materials and techniques with unique forms and colors. Through continuous exploration and practice, she combines traditional ceramic art with modern aesthetics to create works with a sense of time and cultural depth.Yu Hui's artistic career fully demonstrates her infinite passion for ceramic art and her continuous spirit of exploration. Her works not only provide viewers with a rich visual experience, but also make important contributions to the heritage and innovation of ceramic art. Her works have been exhibited in several international exhibitions and have won numerous awards, including the Bronze Medal in the BICC Sino-British International Creative Competition and the Bronze Medal in the Sands Art & Design Competition in Singapore. Her works have been collected by the Changchun International Ceramic Art Museum and the Kim Hyuk-soo Ceramic Art Museum, and her artistic achievements have been widely recognized.
