Cai Long is the founder of Hundred-Flowers Zhan, Fujian Provincial Master of Arts and Crafts, Fujian Provincial Master of Ceramic Art. He focuses on single glaze firing of Hundred-Flower Zhan, Hundred-Flower Zhan oil-drop type of innovative works, its glaze crystals stand out without losing the sense of glazing, patterns such as a variety of blooming flowers, lifelike, simple and elegant works. His work was collected by the China Arts & Crafts Museum, and in 2021, he published a monograph, "Hundred Flowers Contested for Research".
