Peng Zanbin is an associate professor at the Ceramic Art Department of the Ceramic Art College of Jingdezhen Ceramic University.
He uses ceramic materials to realise the materialisation of "thoughts" and the self-evaluation of art, and arranges various elements in the most suitable positions in his works according to his own needs, so as to form a kind of "relationship" between them, which can indirectly reflect the state of certain things in nature to a certain extent. He is constantly exploring the expressiveness and malleability of clay and its infinite possibilities, so that the forms and traces it creates become the language of art itself, ultimately leaving traces of forms imbued with rich emotions and spirits.
He has participated in more than 40 important international exhibitions, such as the Contemporary International Ceramics Exhibition, the Contemporary Chinese Ceramics and Glass Art Exhibition in the United Kingdom, and his works have been collected by many museums, such as the China Ceramics Museum, the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery in the United Kingdom, the Guangdong Museum of Art, and the Ningbo Museum of Art, etc.
