Lee Seung Hee, born in Cheongju, Korea in 1958, is an internationally acclaimed ceramic artist. Known for his work that explores the infinite possibilities of ceramic materials and modern interpretations of traditional craftsmanship, Lee Seung Hee received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1986 from Cheongju University, Korea, with a major in craftsmanship. Collected by museums and galleries around the world, Lee Seung Hee's artistic practice continues to push the traditional boundaries of ceramics, taking ceramic art to new heights. His work reflects a deep understanding of material, form and function, and an exploration of the interaction between art and the viewer.
